Bexar County Small Business & Entrepreneurship Department
The Bexar County Small Business & Entrepreneurship Department (SBED) supports new and existing businesses in Bexar County through programs, resources, and networking opportunities.
greater:SATX Regional Economic Partnership
greater:SATX is the regional Economic Development Organization for the San Antonio MSA. We lead business attraction and advancement efforts.
InCube Labs
We are a multi-disciplinary life sciences lab focused on developing and commercializing breakthrough innovations. We seek to understand the biggest challenges in healthcare and develop innovative and effective treatment solutions that have the potential to improve the lives of millions of patients.
Skills Development Fund
The Skills Development Fund is for businesses who want to train new workers or upgrade the skills of existing workers. Public community colleges, technical colleges, workforce boards, or Texas A&M Extension Services (TEEX) may apply. The goal of the program is to upgrade the skill levels and wages of the Texas workforce.
Texas Workforce Commission
The Texas Workforce Commission is the Texas state government agency that oversees and provides workforce development and unemployment insurance services to employers and individuals in Texas. In addition to training and development programs, TWC has resources and data to support small businesses. Through their Veterans Service program, Veterans receive priority service at Workforce Solutions offices and offer services and support tailored to the needs of those returning to civilian life.
UTSA MBDA Centers
The San Antonio MBDA Business Center is dedicated to helping the minority entrepreneurs flourish and grow in today’s marketplace.
Workforce Solutions Alamo
Workforce Solutions Alamo (WSA) serves as the governing board for the regional workforce system, a network of service providers and contractors that brings people and jobs together. WSA offers several workforce development and training programs and can assist in connecting job seekers with employers.
